Netenrich hopes to disrupt legacy security operations with an artificial intelligence-based approach to security operations built into its Resolution Intelligence platform.
The SaaS security and operations analytics company announced a major shift in data protection on Tuesday with the introduction of its new platform.
Resolution Intelligence analyzes real-time security data to determine which high-impact business resources are most vulnerable, at critical risk, and need immediate response.
The Netenrich platform is one of the first to collect and correlate security and operational data across networks, clouds and applications to prioritize and rank the most critical issues and behaviors.
Data analytics and AI/ML quickly determine key actions to take immediately, scored for risk ranking and data-driven contextual intelligence.
Resolution Intelligence is cloud native and built to take advantage of the distributed computing offered by the cloud delivery model. It integrates with the Google Chronicle cloud service to bring valuable amounts of security data to the platform’s ActOn Data Lake, as well as other data assets for analysis.
This announcement marks the industry’s first managed security services provider (MSSP) focused SoC platform, according to Raju Chekuri, CEO of Netenrich.
Purpose of the platform
The purpose-built ops platform applies correlation, rule management, and threat analysis to deliver prioritized actionable insights and situational awareness. The platform, unique to Resolution Intelligence, collects and correlates data across a common operational framework, including security telemetry across the infrastructure.
The platform incorporates comprehensive Google Chronicle security data as well as operational data. It correlates, scores and prioritizes the most critical issues and risky behaviors using advanced data analytics.
Any organization operating at the service provider scale should strive for business resilience across all digital operations, Chekuri noted of potential users.
“MSSPs, MSPs, and other service providers looking to gain significant traction in transforming their customers’ operational efficiencies also need to build high-quality recurring revenues,” he told TechNewsWorld.
The combination of artificial intelligence and machine learning, plus the platform’s design and features, provides managed service providers with a multi-level, multi-tenant interface. This adds efficiency, automates customer management workflows, and enables scaling.
“Resolution Intelligence drives resilience with a risk-op and operational data analytics approach to secure digital operations,” explains Chekuri. “Partners and their customers will achieve new levels of operational excellence at scale and speed.”
The Netenrich platform provides deep visibility into the operations and security status of critical assets across the entire customer base of users, within a defined group or by an individual customer. The platform’s unified user interface across all security and digital operations streamlines rule creation, threat analysis, and tracking for the provider’s entire customer base.
The platform is shifting security activities to proactively predict and prevent damage while anticipating risky behavior, disrupting threats and ensuring business resilience. According to Netenrich, organizations are improving their overall security posture while focusing on business growth.
This prevents security organizations from being inundated with amounts of warnings and false positives. This reduces the time needed to investigate and respond.
Using AI and automation eliminates the need for additional security experts to speed up analysis and eliminates tedious and time-consuming basic tasks. Previously separated and fragmented operational teams and business units can consolidate and work together. As a result, security is everywhere in all operations.
Automation and real-time notifications are key to detecting and responding to issues before systems crash. That’s a big advantage, according to Bradd Busick, CIO at MultiCare Healtha non-profit health organization in Washington State.
“We no longer look at our technology infrastructure from a point solution perspective. We are able to better redirect disruptions and focus 100 percent on patient care,” he said.
For many MSSPs, connecting with Resolution Intelligence is the fastest and easiest way to build services and transform their business with analytics powered by Chronicle, offered Jonas Kelley, head of Americas MSSP Partnerships at Google Cloud.
“The Netenrich platform operationalizes Chronicle around multi-tenancy to drive scaling and equip providers to realize value from day one and add their own IP at any time,” he said.
Security analytics drives advanced threat hunting, research, and threat intelligence. Analysts can code threat intelligence and apply ML and AI to gain prioritized insights.
